when my time comes
forget the wrong that I've done Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed Don't resent me, and when you're feeling empty Keep me in your memory, leave out all the rest, don't be afraid I've taken my beating, I've shared what I made I'm strong on the surface, not all the way through I've never been perfect, but neither have you

Friday, May 29, 2009|Weekends Again | 11:35 PM

and here comes the weekends again.

Tomorrow:
- Soccer with the Guys.
- NYTP TEAM DINNER

Sunday:
- League matches

And after that, Monday would arrive.

Life is more and more like a cycle now. Every now and then,
things would change. If not, everything remains the same.
Sometimes it really gets very boring and I just want to lay
on my bed and sleep the time away but I would be wasting my
time that way...

Luckily for me, I have trainings to like spend some of my time
on. At least I do not feel bored during trainings and I know that
I'm doing something meaningful.

PASSION. it's all about passion.

Monday, May 25, 2009|First ever... | 9:27 PM

My first ever overseas tournament.
KL OPENS, somehow or rather, it was
great. The 3 days spent there was great.

The matches itself was even more awesome.
Met some great oppositions, was faced with
some great pressure.

I'm so happy that I was somehow or rather
able to cope with the pressure.

I was playing for the Singapore Youth Team(under21).

The team was great. I really felt like I was in
a team which everyone really cares for each
other. It was a team which showed that everyone
in the team was needed and noone could be left
behind. Everyone supported each other.

It was fun to be playing alongside players like
XY, Yiliang, Jon Sng, Leo, Eliza, Xindi and Wanyu.

Not forgetting teammates from NYP.
And also the rest of the team.

I thought that everyone did very well.
The team played as a team.
The team impressed other teams.

I would like to thank Robin, Ben, Enrique and Alex.
Thank you all so much for the time you all have
put in, for the encouragement and motivation.
THANK YOU! (:

** pictures will be uploaded soon.

Monday, May 18, 2009|lately... | 5:41 PM

A lot of things happened lately.
They're really taking its toll on me.
Especially studies. wth
To many, my timetable may look easy.
But the truth is that it's not.
You miss one lesson and that's it.

Last saturday got my DK jersey.
I'm so happy I got my number.
but at the same time, i feel like i dun quite deserve it.
I have to work much harder to prove myself!

& my first summer league game wasn't that good.
My throws sucked, my runs weren't good enough.

IT CAN ONLY GET BETTER.
THE ONLY WAY IS UP, NOT DOWN!

Monday, May 11, 2009|An outing, Finally. | 11:34 PM

Went to school for only 2 hours today.
12pm to 2pm and that was it for the day.

Met Jon then headed down to velocity.
I say that there's nothing much there.
If you're there for the cheap sports shop,
I recommend you forget about it because
the shop sucks.

I still prefer Queensway!

After that, Met Roy at Bugis.
Like finally, an outing with the both of them.
Roamed around in town, shopping, eating.
I didn't buy anything but i sure did eat a lot
of things compared to the 2 of them.
They ended up commenting that I spend
A LOT of money on food alone.

Quote of the day:
A lion doesn't have to tell ppl that it's a lion,
but ppl will still be afraid of it.

LOL!

Thursday, May 7, 2009|for how long more. | 11:28 PM

It's been a matter of' 'how long more' for me.

Firstly, when i logged on to view my attendance record,
guess what I saw?

Yes! This!

hahhas
For long more would i see this.
I've been getting warning letters for attendance
for the past 2 semesters. Let's hope this semester
would be a good 100% one. (:

After that, it comes down to the time I'm sitting
at the sidelines doing admin work during trainings.
Well I'm not saying that I do not want to do the
admin work. I don't mind doing something for the
team, but who doesn't want to play? Who doesn't
want to train? Who doesn't want to be on the field?
Right??!!

I'm really hoping that I can start training like I did
before IVP but I know that is impossible unless I'm
really certified OK.

Come on!

Sunday, May 3, 2009|WINNERS vs LOSERS | 6:53 PM

WHEN A WINNER MAKES A MISTAKE,
HE SAYS, “I WAS WRONG”
When A Loser Makes A Mistake,
He Says, “It Wasn’t My Fault.”

A WINNER WORKS HARDER THAN A LOSER AND HAS MORE TIME;
A Loser Is Always “Too Busy” To Do What Is Necessary.

A WINNER GOES THROUGH A PROBLEM;
A Loser Goes Around It, And Never Gets Pass It.

A WINNER SAYS, “I’M GOOD, BUT NOT AS GOOD AS I OUGHT TO BE:”
A Loser Says, “I’m Not as Bad As A Lot Of Other People.”

A WINNER RESPECTS THOSE WHO ARE SUPERIOR TO HIM AND TRIES TO LEARN SOMETHING FROM THEM;
A Loser Resents Those Who Are Superior To Him And Tries To Find Chinks In Their Armour.

A WINNER FEELS RESPONSIBLE FOR MORE THAN HIS JOB;
A Loser Says, “I Only Work Here.”

A WINNER SAYS, “THERE OUGHT TO BE A BETTER WAY TO DO IT;”
A Loser Says, “That’s The Way It’s Always Been Done Here”

THE CHOICE IS YOURS…. CHOOSE TO BE A WINNER
